"So what can we expect from Consol Energy Center tonight? Well, if the first meeting between the two teams is any indication, there will be lots of goals scored. The Penguins beat the Habs in Montreal, 7-6, on March 2 in an overtime thriller."

Not anymore, I don't think. We have changed the way we are defending and playing...and I'm glad we are giving up less goals

"Poll Results

Question: Are you happy with the Pens' decision to trade Joe Morrow and a 5th round pick for Brenden Morrow and a 3rd?

More than three-quarters (77 percent) of voters are in favor of the Morrow-for-Morrow deal. Giving up a first-round draft choice might be taking a big risk, but if the goal is to win a Stanley Cup in 2013, then the risk-reward scenario is one which sits well with voters."

I'd say DAL 3rd round pick for our 5th made it look an OK deal for us. If it was only Morrow for Morrow, it would be hard to digest.

“I know James well,” Morrow said. “Played with him, know what he does. Dustin, not as much. That may take a little adjustment, but everyone just goes out. They drop the puck. You try and put it in the net. That’s hockey.

“I know all the skill and talent this locker room has,” he said. “I think my job is just to drive to the front of the net with my stick on the ice and let things hit me. That makes things pretty easy.”

You gotta love the mindset and simplicity Morrow is bringing to the Pens. He will fit right in.

Few can match the unique skill set that is Mike Knuble. He's like Tomas Holmstrom, but with a friendlier smile.

The Penguins would be happy to never see Knuble on the other side again. Penguin killer.

Watching Morrow's post practice interview made me think he is everything the Pens organization expect Tangradi to be.

He doesn't seem to let in the soft goals MAF does. That said, I wonder what happens if Price was Pittsburgh's goalie and MAF was Montreal's. I think people would be bagging on Price instead of constantly praising him.

Ill tell you this Price has really started to come into his own, but no MAF is a top 3 goalie.

I think MAF does let in too many soft goals, however you would have to be a little shell shocked with the quality of chances he faces every game.

His best statistical year was under MT so it is no surprise that Price looks better again this year than he has before. I still say King Henrik in NY would struggle to be as good as he is statistically if he played for the Pens. No goalie wants to play in that mad house of a system, well no one but MAF, he seems to enjoy the craziness of it.

It took Vokoun to spray the team with the way they were playing before knuckling down and playing like have for the 2nd half of this run.

MAF gets hung out to dry based on the style the Pens play. He will never get the credit he deserves based on his stats.
